At an early age, Michele fell in love with power of storytelling. A
voracious reader and a lover of films and television, she knew before
she reached the age of twelve she had no choice but to write tales that
made readers wish they were part of her characters lives as well.

In her pre-teen years, she often wrote “Western” and “Vampire” plays,
which were performed in full costume in her front yard or garage. She’d
cast her friends (and her very patient dog) in several roles, turning them
all into quick-change artists. Her storytelling continued when she and
her best friend would entertain one another over their summer
vacations by writing short stories about a colonial American girl who
saves her dying family by retrieving the medicine in time or saves her
town by warning everyone before a British attack occurs. You know,
as all kick-butt, colonial American girls were likely to do.

Today, she still writes paranormal and historical suspense stories, only
now she writes them as  novels. However, she no longer dresses her
dog in costume. This one isn’t
quite as patient.

In addition to writing fiction, she runs
Michele’s Writing Corner, a
blog dedicated to writing news and whatnot
. And be sure to catch her
monthly column, "A Writer's Pursuit,"on the 12th of each month at
